Dalton Brewing Company is Unique for a Few Reasons
Back in October, Jesse and I dropped in at Dalton Brewing Company for a quick beer before a wedding. After that, we knew we needed to figure out a time to come back. And what better time than after a hike at Fort Mountain State Park?
Dalton Brewing Company is unique for a few reasons. First of all, I think this could possibly be the smallest brewery we have ever visited. Dalton Brewing Company is very cozy and feels more like a coffee shop than a brewery, which I really enjoyed. They also have a mug club, which would definitely be worth joining if you lived in the area!
Because we have visited twice, we have tried more than our normal amount of beers each. From this brewery, we have tried the Miss Resaca Beach Blonde Bombshell (blonde ale), Currantly Puckered (black currant and vanilla berliner weisse), the Hazelnut Coffee Porter (porter), the Pineapple Seven (New England IPA), and the Rocky Face Lite (American lager). All of these beers were really good, but the Hazelnut Coffee Porter and the Currantly Puckered were our top two favorites.

DBC is a small, independent brewery & taproom located in the heart of Downtown Dalton. We started as a passion project in early 2018, by local entrepreneurs who believed in the power of craft beer to bring people together and build community. We now have craft beer enthusiasts enjoying our small-batch beers across the great state of Georgia.
If you are in Dalton, definitely stop by Dalton Brewing Company. And if you want to take it home with you, DBC offers growlers and 16 oz cans.

Tips for your trip:
- Dalton Brewing Company is family and pet friendly. However, with it being so small, I personally would not take our dogs to DBC. Just a heads up if your dog isn’t always in the mood to be near new people or if you feel like they do better in settings away from others (this is how our dogs are).
