During our recent visit, Pendley Creek boasted an impressive selection of twelve craft beers on tap. One of the brewery’s hallmarks is its playful and imaginative naming conventions. We were particularly intrigued by options like Fest Side Story, Festalevus, The Godlager, and Pilsner and the Brain, each hinting at the creative brewing processes behind them.

Beyond the exceptional beer selection, Pendley Creek boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere.

I opted for the Brownton Abbey, a robust 6.3% ABV brown ale that offered a delightful balance of roasted malt sweetness and subtle hop bitterness. I also sampled the Festalevus, a refreshing 5.8% ABV pale ale with a vibrant citrus aroma and a crisp, clean finish. Jesse indulged in the Bock Lobster, a well-balanced 6% ABV bock with a touch of smoky character, and the Mrs. Stoutfire, a 5.3% ABV stout that delivered a rich, velvety mouthfeel and a subtle coffee undertone. Both of us ultimately declared the Brownton Abbey and the Mrs. Stoutfire our personal favorites.
