Rocktown Trail
Rocktown is located in the Appalachian Plateau region of Georgia. This region is in the very northwest corner of Georgia and is the smallest of the state's five geological regions. Even though this region is small, it is home to wild rocky landscapes, plateaus, and mountains. This region is also home to Cloudland Canyon.
Sope Creek Trail
Located in the of Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is the Sope Creek Trail, famous for its paper mill ruins that were built during the antebellum era.

Turtletown Falls
Last August, Jesse and I drove up to rural Farner, Tennessee to hike the trail to Turtletown Falls. Turtletown Falls is located just north of the Georgia border, but even closer to the North Carolina border. Turtletown Falls is within the Cherokee National Forest.
