These are just a few ideas for exploring state parks and local craft breweries in Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. With so many great options to choose from, you’re sure to find the perfect way to enjoy the outdoors and sample some of the best beer the Southeast has to offer.

Here are some other tips for planning your trip:

  • Be sure to check the weather forecast before you go. Some of these parks can be quite cool and rainy, especially in the spring and fall.
  • Wear comfortable shoes and clothing that you can move around in.
  • Bring plenty of water and snacks.
  • Be aware of your surroundings and take precautions against ticks and other pests.
  • Leave no trace. Pack out what you pack in.
