Wild Leap Brew Company – LaGrange, Georgia
Just a 31 minute drive from F.D. Roosevelt State Park is LaGrange, Georgia. LaGrange is home to Wild Leap Brew Company, a brewery that is well known in Georgia. The location in LaGrange was huge! The main building has two stories with plenty of seating options. Behind the building is a giant outdoor space with tons of chairs, corn hole, picnic tables, and even a stage. This brewery is also family and dog friendly. They just opened their second location in Atlanta.
Wild Leap Brew Company offers a wide variety of beer and spirits
Wild Leap manufactures beer and spirits. Out of the different places we have visited, I think Wild Leap might have the largest variety of drinks. Rum, bourbon, vodka, gin, draft cocktails, canned cocktails, and slushes were available. The cocktail options sounded amazing – DILLicious, Spicy Mary, Aloha Anana Slushie, and Spicy Lemonade sounded right up my ally. But I did not try one of those on our visit because I wanted to stick to beer this time around. But next time I visit, I will definitely be getting a slushie!
Jesse ordered the Great Wolf Peach (peach cobbler ale) beer and the Superlager Pilsner (German pilsner). I ordered the Blueberry LMN Ade Sour Ale beer (blueberry and lemon sour) and the Local Gold beer (a mix of German Kolsch, English Bitter and American Blonde Ale). It was kind of weird but I did like the Blueberry LMN Ade a lot – Which may not be everyone’s cup of tea! The Local Gold was pretty good too.
